The world-wide web is a vast universe full of these.
In the spirit of Sharing is Caring, I share my finds with you all.
Check them out.
Hopefully you’ll find, that these are:
GOOD FINDS, GOOD READS
I’m not usually a follower of all those nutritional recommendations that sprout daily on the world wide web. Some are bogus and let’s be real, some come from institutions/universities/colleges that you haven’t heard ever.
A lot has been said about quinoa. When I read this article, saying that a bowl of quinoa a day could help you live longer, I had to check it out. It comes from Harvard. I mean Harvard’s reputation is Harvard’s reputation, right?
Turns out it’s true. The peeps at Harvard did a study for 14 years on the benefits of daily whole grain consumption. It’s a doable nutritional recommendation. So if you’re already getting your quinoa daily (hello GaryLum!) keep it up. If you haven’t, think about it, and try to include quinoa or whatever whole grain you can get. It does your body good.
In terms of recycling, I’ve always thought packing peanuts where useless. Never thought they could be recycled or reused for anything other than avoiding damage of things in boxes.
I was wrong.
The people at Purdue University found a fantastic way to transform and reuse packing peanuts in a useful way that I had never thought of. Check this article out, it’s a Good Read.
Taking a shower is something so basic in our daily routines that you would never imagine it could be taken to a whole other level.
There are many shower fixtures out there, but I had never seen the ones in this article. Check them out, if that is not taking it to a whole other level, I don’t know what is.
Penis. 😀 Sorry to be so childish but I’ve always wanted to write a post with that word in it but not in a dirty naughty way. And now thanks to a South African medical team I can write such post.
One of the world male population greatest fears is someone going all “Bobbit” on them. Well, first of all, you guys shouldn’t do things that lead anyone to go all Bobbit on you. But in case you’re ever in that peculiar situation, and what was taken from you is nowhere to be found: keep calm, fear no more.
Men of the world! There’s a solution for it. The world’s first successful penis transplant has already been performed and it was successful. So there’s hope you guys! 😀 Hope is never lost.
I’ve got a question though….for those on the organ donor’s list…does this affect/change your decision? I hope not.
Have you ever wondered how the brave men and women who join the space programs keep healthy and fit in outer space? Expedition 43 Flight Engineer Samantha Cristoforetti of ESA (European Space Agency) shared a lot of info about this while in outer space. Check it out! 😀
