It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we all have special traditions and fun things we do only during these days. Watching Christmas movies is in my humble opinion a must do during this season. For me, it’s the best way to feed my Christmas Spirit. Christmas movies make the season special.
There are many fun and heartfelt movies to watch during this season. And if you can stuff yourself with the many yummy goodies of the season, you made it!
Movies and Christmas goodies are an unbeateable combo. Your definite ticket to a permanent smile on your face.
What are your Must See Christmas Movies? My Must See Christmas Movies are:
This movie is magical. I’ve watched this movie too many times and I never get tired of it. I know the dialogues. I own the soundtrack, which I listen to non-stop during the Holidays. Macaulay Culkin and each and every character in this movie are perfect. And the lessons of love, friendship and the meaning of spending Christmas with family are priceless. Definitely a Must See Christmas Movie.
What can I say about Chevy Chase. No matter how many times I watch this movie, he makes me laugh. I don’t know if this is his greatest comedic work but for me he will be eternally immortalized as Clark Grisswold (and also as one of the Three Amigos). This is also a movie that should deserve an award for casting. Everyone is perfect in their roles. A Must See Christmas Movie.
This classic from the 60’s is a masterpiece. As time goes on, the animation work of this movie is priceless. I don’t know what it is, but this movie makes me wish I could visit Rudolph, Santa and the elves. And of course Rudolph’s story is unforgettable, full of life lessons. You have to be a real mean Grinch not to get fuzzy warm Christmas feelings after watching this movie. A Must See Christmas Movie.
After watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer there is nothing like watching the elves come to life on Elf. I must admit I’m not a big Will Ferrell fan, but Buddy in all his clumsiness and awkwardness is a lovable character. And how they managed to bring the wonderful scenery to life fills my heart with joy and laughter. A Must See Christmas Movie.
For me Jesus is the reason for the season, but then again I believe 😀 and I can’t not watch the story of Santa Claus during Christmas. And the best version of his story, IMHO is this classic, narrated and sung by none other than the one and only Fred Astaire. Another animation masterpiece, considering the time when it was made. It’s a timeless animation jewel. A Must See Christmas Movie.
I know there are many more like Frosty the Snowman, or Charlie Brown Christmas, or Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch stole Christmas, etc. etc. but for me the 5 movies above are essential for my Christmas Seasons.
How about you my friends? What are your must see Christmas Movies?
