When was the last time you cleaned your sponge? your cellphone? your pillow? your remote?
This post on apartmenttherapy.com gives you great tips on how you can clean 10 household items you don’t normally clean. And the best thing is that it doesn’t take much time to do it. You can clean them in a minute. I’m sure you’ll be cleaning the minute after your read it. 😀
My taste buds have lately been having an affair with blueberries. I can’t have enough of those little round vitamin and antioxidant filled blue bombs. I like them with plain yogurt for breakfast and in each and every salad I make.
The other day, while searching for blueberry smoothie recipes I found this post with a valuable piece of information for me.
I wasn’t aware that your shouldn’t mix blueberries with milk. As tasty as it is, it turns out it is not the super health bomb you would think it could be.
Did you know this? In case your didn’t, click here and check it out.
Can you imagine your life without it?
Well, Kathleen Davis wrote a wonderful piece where she shares how she manages to live without a smart phone.
This post makes you wonder if living in a world with constant connectivity is making us more social or making us introverts disguised as uber-social beings.
Do you know who Mica and Myla Hendricks are?
I first learned about them in this article.
In case you didn’t, I share with you Mica’s inspiring TEDx talk. In this video, she shares with us the important lessons she has gotten from her amazingly artistic and creative FOUR year old daughter. It is not only an important parenting lesson, but a sharing lesson that everyone can apply to life.
Who would’ve thought a little “home project” could turn out to be such a life changing experience for them and for everyone who gets to know about it?
I’m sure after you see this TEDx talk, you will definitely want to know more about them. Be sure to follow the colorful bits and pieces of this dynamic Mom and Daughter duo’s life at their website: Busymockingbird.com
We all have traveling dreams, right?
One of the countries in my traveling dreams is Sweden. Isn’t it ironic how many can’t wait to be of age to leave that country while on the other side of the world there are dreamers like me, who are fascinated by the photos you see about it, the culture, the food, etc.?
A while ago, I came across this article: 24 Reasons Sweden Is The Most Delightful Country On Earth. I don’t need more reasons, I just know I hope that someday I can get to experience the wonders of Sweden. Check it out.
