Check them out.
Hopefully you’ll find, that these are:
GOOD FINDS, GOOD READS
I know these are not the only good tips for life. I know there may be more lists like this one out there. But this list of 23 things every woman should stop doing is good. It applies to our times.
Of course, life won’t be perfect if we let go of these 23 things, but I have a pretty good feeling that it will be better.
A Good Read from the HuffPost people.
This is a 2 for the price of one recommendation. 🙂
These posts made me laugh. Nicole from The Middlest Sister (aka, my adopted virtual paper sisters) and Emily from The Waiting take us back in time by sharing their school photo day memories/experiences.
I didn’t have school photo days back in the day, so I couldn’t be a part of this link up the way it was intended to be. But check them out: Nicole’s post – Emily’s post, and maybe they will bring you back memories of your own experiences striking the pose at an early age. 🙂
Even though I’ve never been to New York (someday I will), last week I felt like I was there. Sort of.
Last week New York was the fashion capital of the world. New York welcomed the 2014 Spring Collections at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week, MBFW.
I was able to be there thanks to the magic of live streaming. I could experience the rush, expectation, fascination, surprise in the comfort of my home. I know the experience doesn’t compare to the real thing, but it’s all I have.
Anyway, when I think Fashion Week I think: Fabulosity (is that a word, or have I watched too much Kimora?), Luxury, Exquisiteness, Elegance, both on and off the runway. Yes I also think of eccentricity when it comes to designers whose work is unconventional. BUT I never expected to see the things what HE shows us in his post: NYFW Week 2013…The Bad and the Ugly. Images are worth a thousand words.
Every language has beautiful words. I started a while back a list of my favorite words but it isn’t done yet. Mainly because I keep finding words I think deserve a place in the list, making the list editing task take longer than expected.
In the meantime I share with you the words Tyler Vendetti thinks are the 9 most beautiful words.
Do you have a list of favorite words?
Technology is great. It has helped us communicate in ways we never thought possible. But it will never beat the power of the handwritten letter. I bet Hannah Brencher never thought her therapy random act of kindness would fuel such a global movement. The World needs more love letters. This is inspiring. And in this particular case a video is worth a thousand words:
p.s. To my lovely manly male readers, I promise next finds and reads won’t be so much estrogen infused. 😉
